Barbara was the perfect choice to help me sell my house in Newport OR. It wasn't a particularly good time to be trying to sell a home there, and she managed to find a buyer within a very short period of time. Barbara was willing to work closely with me and willing to put up with some of my requirements - like not having a lock-box on the house which required that she be available whenever anyone wanted to look at the house. We contacted Barbara as she was the listing agent for the house we were interested in seeing. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. At our request she provided information for home inspectors and lenders in the area. We live in a different state which made the process a bit more challenging. There were a few issues that came up in home inspection that needed to be resolved. I have sold seven homes in a long stretch of years. For each one, I was determined to not let the challenges of necessary actions cause stress - or, at least, a minimal amount. This last sale was managed by Barbara. My wife and I decided it was time to sell our home. Working with Barbara Greenman in purchasing our home in Oregon was exceptionally easy. At first we were a little apprehensive, as we live in California and were purchasing a vacation property in Oregon. After inspecting the property and submitting an offer, the paperwork process was smooth. Barbara kept us in the loop with constant communication through phone calls, e-mails and texting. Her professionalism was evident in the way she negotiated specific items for us and got things corrected in a timely manner. The only delay we experienced was waiting for an appraiser, which was out of Barbara's control (even though she TRIED to expedite it!). After that part of the process was completed, the final documents were signed and recorded rapidly, we received our keys and are enjoying our new home! Working with Barb was interesting and fun. I was impressed with her ability to “qualify” me as a buyer in subtle ways while at the same time answering all my questions very thoroughly.
