Erik is true Oregon native, born and raised in the Portland/metro area. He is proud to call Oregon home, and enjoys educating and touring people around – from the beautiful Oregon Coast, to the world class vineyards of the Willamette Valley, to the amazing city scene of Portland, and even to the Central Oregon high desert area of Bend. If you have any questions about these areas, Erik is the one to ask.

Erik graduated with honors from the University of Oregon with degrees in Psychology and German. He also was on the cheer squad for three years while attending U of O – he is a true Duck! Post graduation, Erik went on to earn his sommelier certification. Since then he has worked closely with the wine community – from vineyards, to wineries, to education and tours.

Erik hails from a long line of successful real estate professionals including agents, underwriters, and lenders. He earned his Oregon Real Estate Broker’s license in 2006, and achieved his Principal Broker’s license in 2016. Basically, Erik knows the nooks and crannies of every level of the real estate world, and knows what it takes to complete successful transactions.

Erik’s view on real estate is simple – no two transactions are alike, and each transaction and client deserves his utmost attention and professionalism. When asked what sets him apart from other Realtors he responded, “I don’t overbook myself by taking on too many clients and spreading myself too thin. My clients trust me to have their best interest in mind, and I take that to heart. Balance is the key to a happy and healthy life, and career, and because of this, I won’t take on more business than I can sanely handle. I’d rather have a dozen closings with completely happy customers and reviews than 30 closings with merely satisfied customers and average reviews any day.”

Over the past decade Erik’s real estate career has ranged from bare land acquisitions and developing that land into subdivisions, as well as selling top quality vineyard land, and of course high end residential sales in the Portland and Oregon Coast areas.
